Memorial Day

Our Memorial Day was great. We had a houseful! We had Keith and Jamie, and their three kids over, as well as my family. Bethany just moved into the apartments down the road and we invited her to join us also, and Kayla Coburn came down too. My sister Katie even joined us all the way from Tennessee! We were buzzing with activity! 🙂

We began the day with the annual Climax Memorial Day Parade. We joined several other families from our church on the side of the road to watch the tractors, old cars, kids on bikes, and this year even a Best Buy Truck in the parade (yes, I am serious). Then Jamie showed my mom and I how to make stuffed artichokes, and my dad created a homemade grill in our back yard. We had a table full of delicious food and we filled ourselves until we were content!

The Lord saw fit to give us perfect weather, and lots of sunshine so we could enjoy the outdoors. Isaac loves the outdoors, and played hard all day long.

Such a wonderful day shared with friends and family as we gave thanks for all those who have fought, and continue to fight, to keep our country free.

Is Isaac old enough to heart NY? 🙂 Looks like a fun parade! We didn’t make it to one down here, but we had a cookout with friends and enjoyed ourselves. Hudson’s rolls crack me up. Zachary is starting to lose his (at least I think so sometimes – the rest of the time I can’t get over how round his little legs are.) What is Katie doing in TN?
